Half-Day Tours

All Library Visits will take place on Friday, 22 August 2025.

Participants will be charged a minimal fee to cover the transportation costs. These costs are not included in the conference registration fee.

Pick-up points for all visits: Congress Centre

The registration deadline for the library bus tours is August 20th at 12:00 pm.

General Terms and Conditions for Library Visits

All Library Visits require pre-registration and are based on a minimum number of 10 attendees. Should the minimum number of attendees not be reached, the Congress Secretariat reserves the right to cancel the tour. All departures for Library Visits start at the Conference Centre unless otherwise stated.

Payment is required at the time of registration and is due in EUR using one of the following methods:

Please note that the transmitter must prepay ALL transfer costs. Cheques will not be accepted.

Letter of Confirmation / Payment Receipt

A letter of confirmation / invoice will be sent by email once K.I.T. Group has received the fully completed registration form and the related payment.
Without the barcode from the confirmation letter, independent printing of the name badge at any self-printing terminals that may be present at the venue is not possible.

Definitions

The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (“IFLA” or “host” or “hosting party”) is hosting the IFLA WLIC 2025, wich will be held from 18 August to 22 August 2025 in Astana, Kazakhstan (“IFLA WLIC 2025” or “Congress” or “Event”). They have entrusted K.I.T. Group GmbH Association & Conference Management (“Organizer” or “K.I.T. Group”) – a Professional Conference Organizer (PCO) – with the organization and implementation of the Summit.

The Organizer leads the Summit secretariat and is responsible for Summit services such as, but not limited to, registration services, hotel accommodation, sponsorship opportunities, exhibition management, etc.

General Terms and Conditions for Registration

These General Terms and Conditions are valid for each attendee registered for the IFLA WLIC 2025, 18 – 22 August 2025, in Astana, Kazakhstan (hereafter referred to as the ”Congress”). Any person, delegate, accompanying person, student, media representative, speaker or exhibitor is considered an attendee. These terms and conditions are also binding for all group registrations.
