Satellite Meetings

Every year, a number of IFLA committees (Sections, Special Interest Groups, Regional Divisions, Advisory Committees) organise unique Satellite meetings prior to or just after the IFLA World Library and Information Congress. The meetings focus on a particular area of interest where more time can be dedicated to the topic.

In 2025, these 1-2 day meetings will be held in Astana, Almaty or Turkistan, Kazakhstan.

IFLA’s Professional Units are planning the meetings at the moment, and we will publish more information here as soon as it becomes available.
